Part 1: Beekeeping 101

9–10:30am: Workshop and learning space for people with little or no knowledge on bees or keeping, facilitated by Lee Bryant, beekeeping enthusiast with ten years of experience.
Topics: How bees work, beekeeping principles, beekeeping equipment, care and treatment of a hive.

Part 2: Beekeepers’ Skill Share

10:30am–1pm: Sklll share, ideas and trouble shooting session for people who have kept bees (open to part 1 participants) to be held at a local beekeeper’s property in Boonville. Potluck to follow.
